Sexy Little Bo Peep Costume Review

We were recently sent the Sexy Little Bo Peep Costume to review. When allowed to pick the costume we were going to review I was looking for something fun for a date night I was working on for E and I that would fit my belly. I thought this costume would work. Unfortunately this costume did not fit. I ordered the correct size but even with my pregnant belly the bottoms were much too large.

I can however say that the costume was a good quality and that the service an selection at Costume Supercenter were wonderful. I look forward to using them again as the kids get older and need specific costumes for different events.

Day 30 - Your Dream for the Future

My biggest dream right now is to finish school. It's hard trying to be a mom and a student but I really want to keep pushing myself and just get it done so I can receive the benefits of having a degree.

Day 28 - In my purse?

I don't usually carry a purse. I usually either take the diaper bag (this is most of the time) or put a small wallet in my pocket. I have enough to carry without worrying about purses. Someday I want to have a whole collection of cute purses to match every outfit because I do miss them.

Day 25 - My Day in Review

It has been a long day.
This morning started at 3am when we had a two year old in our room wanting a diaper change. I really which he would potty train so he wouldn't have to get mad every time he had on a dirty diaper.
All too soon our alarm was going off and it was time to start the day. I ate breakfast, stuffed diapers for the sitter, and got the kids dressed and started on breakfast before I left for the day.
Another "bright" spot to our morning was that we had two new inches of snow on the ground when we woke up and it was still coming down. This meant an extra long drive to school (it normally takes about half an hour) so I left the house as soon as the sitter arrived.
It was Tuesday today so I made a stop at the doctor on my way out of town to get my P17 shot and then headed off to school. An hour and a half after leaving the house I arrived at school just in time for my first class where we talked about the war for American independence. After class, and a quick potty stop, I headed to science, to find out the class was canceled due to the instructor being at a funeral so I headed to the library where I was able to meet with my Math partner to do our project that was due tonight. We finished our project just in time for me to get to my next class, Infant & Toddler, where my teacher was also missing but left us a movie to watch. The movie about SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome was not the most uplifting one I've ever seen to say the least. After IT it was time for devotional where I finally got to see E. We sat together and I snoozed, no thanks to the lack of sleep last night, but felt much better afterward. My last class was Book of Mormon, with E, where we had a grand discussion about patience. After that I was able to come home early as E had to stay for a group project. Thankfully the roads had cleared and it was a much nicer drive. After arriving home and talking with the sitter for a bit, I got dinner ready just in time for E to come home. After dinner B & C were very fussy so they have now had an early bedtime and I'm finally sitting down to get some things done. Once this is written I'll have at least another hour of homework before I'll head to bed and pray I can make it through tomorrow.
Night Everyone!

Day 24 - Where I Live

Right now I live in a 3 bed, 2 bath double-wide trailer. It's located in a small (about 150 trailer) community where I don't know anyone. Mostly this is due to the fact that the majority of our residents are homebound either by age or weight so no one is ever outside. Sometimes this makes it kinda creepy but for the most part it is a nice place to live. We each have our own little yard and a big playground in the middle of the community for our kids during the summer. I also have a few good friends who live just a few doors away so that's also nice. We are hoping to be moving soon so I am sure you will be hearing more about our new home soon.

Applied Labels - Review

APPLIED LABELS™

Applied Labels ™ are custom-printed, durable, dishwasher-safe labels. Apply them to a dry and clean surfaceHandle the label by the edges to avoid contaminating the adhesive.  Place the label and press very firmly, especially on the corners. Wait 24 hours before washing as bond strength builds with time. Glass bottles require the use of Baby Tapes™.

Click here to see how to apply them to clothing with tags. They are great for coats, sweaters and uniforms with tags. They are not for use on underwear, socks or tagless T-shirts.

TAG-A-LONGS™

Tag-A-Longs™ provide an easy method of identifying fabric items that are infrequently washed (wool coat or stuffed animals, etc.). Simply peel and stick the label to the tag of any fabric item. Ensure all four corners of the label fit on the tag and press firmly.

Watch a video to see how Tag-A-LongsTM are applied.

SHOE SHIELDS™

Applied Labels™ can also be used in shoes.  Apply the name label to the inside, flat heel area of the shoe and press firmly. Shoe labels take a real stomping, so we recommend covering the name label with our clear Shoe Shields™.  Center the Shoe Shields™ label over the name label and press firmly.  Super Tough.

Watch a video to see how to apply Shoe SheildsTM
BABY DATES™

Baby Dates ™ are mini, single-use date labels ideal for daily bottle dating.  They are designed to remove easily.  Remove and discard prior to washing the bottle.  If the label gets wet or is washed, any residue can be easily removed by gently rubbing with your fingers.

Watch a video to see how to apply our bottle labeling solutions.

BABY TAPES™

Baby Tapes™ are dishwasher-safe, color-coded tapes.  For baby bottles, wrap the tape fully around a clean, dry bottle. Overlap the tape by  1.5 - 2 inches.  Cut the tape and press firmly.  Center and place your Applied Labels™ name label over the tape.  Press firmly, especially on the corners.

Watch a video to see how to apply our bottle labeling solutions.

Our thoughts:
These labels are very cute and simple to use. We loved that the names are big and even my 2 year old can find the one with his "letter" on it (since all he knows is 'B'). The pictures are very cute and they are holding up well on their matching Christmas outfits. It is much easier to look at the tags and figure out who's shirt you're holding if it's got their name on it. :) Please stop by Applied Labels today. You can find them at their website, on facebook, and on twitter.

Day 21 - Recipe

I wasn't sure what recipe to share until I made this, one of my long time favorites, for dinner last night and it really hit the spot with this pregnant woman. Here ya go, my latest craving.

Stroganoff

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
5-10 fresh mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Brown beef. Add onion and mushrooms and cook until onions begin to become transparent. Add sour cream and soup. Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Serve over pasta or rice. Enjoy!

Day 20 - A Hobby

One little known fact about me is that I work with the local humane society. I have been on their board of directors and also volunteer both at the adoption center and as a foster parent. It is a very rewarding experience for myself, the animal, and my family. These are a few of the close to 100 animals we have fostered in the last 2 years.

Dexter was a great ball of fluff. He was a sweetheart and found a wonderful home in Washington state.

Sneezy was one of our 7 Dwarf kittens. He was a black ball of fluff in a litter of short haired calico cats. He also found a great home.

This is Roxy. She was such a sweetheart and lived with us for about 3 months. She found the perfect home however and we get to see her from time to time as she now lives with my uncle and is spoiled rotten!

This is Licorice. She was one of our litter of 15 candy puppies. They were found by a passerby as some children tried to drown them in the river. We found them all great homes and they are all doing well.

Foster is such a rewarding experience and I'm so glad I get to participate. If you'd like to know more about helping the animals in your area or adopting a new best friend please feel free to contact me and I will do all I can to help. And don't forget to spay or neuter your pet!

Day 19 - A Talent

I love to sew! These suspenders are my latest project that will be in my shop soon.

These quilts were not made by me but by my hero and mentor, my Grandma S. Someday I hope I can make things as beautiful as she does.

Day 13 - A Fictional Book

Vanished: A Maggie McKenzie Mystery

by: Lynn Gardner

This is probably my favorite author. If you haven't read her books I highly recommend it! I don't want to give the story away but it's newspaper writer who goes on a story she is more connected to then she thinks. Plan on staying up all night to finish!

Day 12 - Something I'm OCD about

My hair...
not that it is perfect but that it HAS to be brushed. If I wear my hair down (which isn't very often) I brush it at least once an hour. I cannot use hairspray or anything else that makes it crunchy. Usually I pull it up in a braid or a bun so it doesn't get tangled.

Day 2 - Favorite Movie

My all time favorite movie is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
I love all the actors and have seen the play in theater more times then I can count. Funny thing is this is a movie I do not own. We might have to fix that at some point so my kids can see it too.
