    I'm taking the kids trick-or-treating in a local tract-home development. We live on a dirt road with gated yards, so we have to trick-or-treat somewhere else. My hubby is a repoman, so he'll be working. But the kids and I have it covered ... and maybe we'll share our candy with him later.

    For Halloween I am either staying at home & watching movies, or going to my mom's house. She only gives out candy if someone else is there to open the door, basically to do it for her, lol. She loves to see kids dressed up, so I may go do that for her.

    i didnt do much i handed out a dollar to a lil girl since we didnt have candy then went to get candy and didnt get any more trick or treaters afterwards

    We got together and had dinner with the extended family. The older kids went trick or treating, while I stayed home with my 2 yr old (acorn). Fun!

    I don't think I have a favorite Halloween book! But I can tell you my son's favorite book that we read every single night & that is "Dr. Suess's Hop on Pop"

    Unfortunatly, I just had to have immedate back surgery on Saturday, just 2 days before Halloween. We had plans (and outfits ready!!) for my 2 1/2 yr old son to be Popeye, myself to be Olive Oyl & my husband to be Bluto. We put that on hold & dressed my son in his playtime Pirate Costume for the day & his preschool had a parade of all the kids in their great outfits. My husband video taped if for me so I could pretend that I was there. After dinner Isaac got to go trick or treating with daddy & grandpa & had a fantastic time! So sad I missed it, but it still turned out great for my son & that's what counts!!
