The Stork by Rinovum

This post is brought to you by The Stork and The Motherhood. Opinions are my own.

Rinovum is a Pittsburgh based company dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their health. Their first product is a s Rx device called The Stork designed to help the 7.3 million, United States couples who have difficulty conceiving.

When I first heard that number as the number of couples with conception difficulty I was stunned! I do know people who I know have fertility problems but when you put that large of a number in front of me it seems staggering so I was grateful for a little more information on the why behind these fertility issues.

About 40% of fertility issues are attributed to the male, the major factor being that estrogen levels are high resulting in low sperm counts, motility and morphology issues. Another 40% of fertility issues are attributed to the female, the major factor being imbalanced vaginal pH. The last 20% of fertility issues are diagnosed as unexplained.

When I think of this large number of Americans who have trouble conceiving I look at my four little blessings and am amazed at how lucky I am to have them. Then I think about all the things that these couples go though to try for a baby and again stand in awe (if this is you, WOW!!!). I know treatments today are slow, invasive and costly and that is why I am so excited to share The Stork's Conception System with you today!

There are three BIG things that I love about the Stork. It is easy to obtain, minimally invasive, and low cost. The Stork was created to provide at home assisted insemination in instances where low sperm count, sperm immobility, or hostile vaginal environment has been diagnosed.

The Stork is an FDA Authorized prescription product that is drug free and a proven Physician technique that is now available to use at home. Using The Stork is a simple process. You can see a full video on how to use The Stork here (this video is best watched in the privacy of your home).

If you're interested in trying The Stork please contact your healthcare provider for a prescription then order from The Stork's website. Priced at $79 for one kit or $210 for a one-month supply of three the stork is very affordable and will ship directly to your home. In the near future The Stork will also be available over the counter at Amazon and CVS in the family planning aisle as well.

Since we obviously won't be trying The Stork in the near future (since baby is due in about 2 months) we would love to hear your comments, and hopefully success stories, as you try out The Stork. Make sure to come back here and let us know what you think!

My Ready For Baby To Do List and Mom to Mom Diapers

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mom to Mom.

Ahh! It's almost time for the new baby. Yes, technicly I still have twelve more weeks but anyone who knows me well knows I proably have six or less left. That means it's time for me to start preping the nursery.

There is so much to do to get ready for a new baby. My to do list still includes painting, lots of baby laundry, assembling the bassinet, preparing the big brothers and sister shirts, getting the diapers ready, and of course our big baby gift guide event coming soon here on Kerrific. E keeps laughing at me and my to do lists but it is really what gets me through this third trimester. Besides, it always feels good to check things off as done!

Unfortunatly, the doctor says I need to have someone else do the painting (E, that's your cue to step in) but everything else I think I should be able to do mostly on my own. I know my favorite part of the prep will probably be the laundry. It's about the only time I enjoy laundry but there is just something about those tiny preemie and newborn sized clothes that make me smile.

This time around our diaper stash for the first two weeks or so is being helped out by some great deals on newborn sized Mom to Mom diapers from Safeway! I can't wait to try these diapers with my newborn. They look awesome! I love that they have Vitamin E and Aloe inside the diaper to help keep baby's skin super soft and that the diapers feautre a Perfect Fit Waist so the dirties stay where they belong even on my skinny kids.

Now that I have made my list and am checking it off, what am I forgetting? If you're reading this post I'm assuming that you understand when I say that I have pregnancy brain syndrome so help me out please. Leave a comment and let me know what is on your ready for baby to do list. Let's see what I am forgetting before it's too late!

What Would You Do With More Time For You?

This seems to be the question of the week as I can't seem to catch a break. At our house B just got finished with spring break, E is in the middle of finals, it's my birthday (I'm old), oh ya, and I'm having some sort of allergic reaction to who knows what that is making me swell up like a balloon. This is besides all the normal craziness like kids painting the couch with poop, speech and occupational therapy, homework, housework, "real" work and more. What would I do if I had just 5 minutes to myself? I'd probably take a nap!

Right now, The First Years wants to know what you would do with more time for you and they are hosting a contest, now through April 30th, to find out. The best part is that three people are going to win $1,000 toward doing that thing they would most enjoy with their time. I'm heading over to enter now and hope you will too! It's going to be lots of fun! Can't wait to see what you will do with more time for you!

Perrigo Nutritionals & Reducing Stress

It's that time of year again. Finals for hubby, spring allergies, pregnant mama, it's still snowing in Idaho and this mama is stressed to the max! It hits every year and seems like there is nothing that I can do but I know that isn't really true either.

Recently, Perrigo Nutritionals sent me a copy of Say Goodbye to Survival Mode by Crystal Paine as part of a great gift pack of children's snack foods. This amazing book features nine doable strategies to stress less and enjoy life more. It had some great tips that I am excited to integrate into my life this spring! The chapters in the book include:
  1. Stop Trying to Do It All
  2. Say Yes to the Best
  3. If You Aim at Nothing, You'll Hit It Every Time
  4. Discipline Is Not a Bad Word
  5. Be Intentional with Your Bank Account
  6. Manage the Home Front
  7. When you Feel Like a Failure
  8. Yes, You Can Make a Difference
  9. Sometimes It Is About You
I know these seem like simple statements, yet very complicated things to do but the book really does have some great ideas on how to make these things happen. Some of my favorite tips in the book were about budgeting. This is something I was blessed to have a good system for when I got married, thanks to my Dad, and I love the tips Crystal gives because most of them are ones that I already use and know work.

Having a good budget system is essential to reducing stress in our family. It means that I can get my family the food and other essentials they need plus pay my house payment every month without stressing even when E is in school full time and we have no regular income coming into the home. Yes, a budget means that we use store brand products, like those from Perrigo Nutritionals sold at Walmart and Target, and don't often do things like go out to dinner or to the movies but we enjoy our time as a family and we love knowing that our bills will be paid each month.

If you want some great tips for de-stressing your life than this book is certainly for you. And, while you're out shopping, make sure you check out the Perrigo Nutritionals brands and see if they are a good stress saving solution for you and your family.
