RoosterFin Games - Making Learning Family Friendly Fun!

Any of you who have large families probably understand when I say that quality family time in our home is limited. Just due to the number of people we need to get together it can be hard to get much time in as a family outside of chores and the mad rush out the door to school in the morning.

Thankfully, we have holidays! With Thanksgiving tomorrow we are looking forward to a fun, family day (unless it snows and we have to send Erik out in the plow truck). Besides the traditional festive meal one of the things we love to do on holidays is play games. We have a large selection of games perfect for people of all ages that the kids will spend all day playing with us when we have days off.

Recently we have added three new games to our collection that are being thoroughly enjoyed! All three games are from RoosterFin, a great family friendly, educational game company.

Rooster Race is a very simple but fun game where you guess if a card is going to be higher or lower than the last card. Even my three year old can play this game with us! We spend a lot of time with her counting fingers to figure out which is higher and she loves it!

The second game, Monkeys Up, is a bit harder but still fun. The object of this game is to collect the monkeys with the highest value without knowing the values of all the monkeys. This requires some strategy and ability to remember where different monkeys are. Counting, math and memory combined makes this a great addition to our family game closet.

The last one is my favorite and called Mighty Pig Tug. In this game you want to have the largest cumulative strength numbers on your pigs. The game requires addition and is best for those probably first grade and up. Our favorite part about this game is the fun, and unexpected ending. You need to be prepared for everything!

I'm so happy with these games and am excited to try out more of the fun games at RoosterFin! These are also going to be making great gifts for my favorite teachers this holiday season and I'm sure they'll enjoy the fun additions to their classrooms! So much fun in a box!
