Holiday Gifts for Hubby with Cogito Watch

This is a sponsored program with Mums the Word Blogger Network and Cogito. All opinions are my own.

It's hard to admit but one of the hardest people that I buy for each Christmas is my husband. Part of this is because he has a bad habit of going out and buying things he wants or needs because he can. (Yes, if you do this, it's frustrating for the rest of us). Thanks to this habit I have to be extra creative when I go shopping and think of things he doesn't yet know he needs.

This year, I am excited that both of us will be getting COGITO watches. The COGITO Classic is a stylish connected watch from ConnecteDevice. This amazing tool brings together the power of a connected watch with the sophistication of a precision-crafted timepiece, merging classic analog movement with a lucid digital display. With the help of your new watch you’ll know what’s happening on your phone even when it’s tucked away!

How does it work? With the use of the Free ConnectedWatch App, you'll be able these essential notifications at a glance:

  • Incoming and missed call alerts (See Caller ID or phone number on the digital display),
  • Email alerts,
  • 3rd Party messenger app alerts (Viber, WhatsApp, Skype, etc.)
  • Calendar Reminders
  • Device Low Battery Alerts.
  • You can also use COGITO as a remote control to skip, pause and play music, and trigger your device camera at the push of a button.

So what makes COGITO extra special? You also don’t have to charge your watch battery every day! The COGITO comes with a button-cell battery that lasts for up to a year! And as a bonus for my hard working husband it has up to 10ATM water resistance! WAHOO!

So how are we getting two of these amazing watches? Now through November 30, 2014 you can get $50 off your COGITO watch with code BLOG50. Make sure you add this deal to your list for Friday and then let me know how much you love your new toy tool.

Compatible with iPhone 4S up, iPad 3rd & 4th Generation, iPad Mini Running iOS 8
and Android 4.3 upwards on Samsung S3, S4, S4 Mini S4 Active, Note 2 & 3 & HTC One

My Favorite Combo From Head to Toes

Everyone has those things that they just love. For me, there are lots of great combinations but here are some of my all time favorites.

5. A snuggly baby + baby lotion
4. A rainy day + a good book
3. Ice cream + homemade fudge sauce
2. Cleanly swept floors + bare feet

and my very favorite combo...

1. Clean sheets + shaved legs + and my freshly showered, smell good husband

Yes, I know, I'm a little bit odd but I'm ok with that and I know that I can't be the only one here who likes to cuddle with their freshly washed husband. There is nothing like the clean smell of soap and a hint of man at the end of a long and stressful day. There is a huge difference however in soap smells! There are a few that I like but my all time favorite is Old Spice.

Old Spice is the brand my husband used when we were dating and its the one he still uses today. There is just something about the scent that is amazing and I love how it lasts and I can still catch a hint of it at the end of a sweaty workday. My favorite news is that I can now enjoy my favorite spicy scent even more since Old Spice has expanded from Deodorant and now also carries body wash + 2-in-1 conditioner in all of my favorite scents.

This year, as you get ready for the stress of back to school try taking some relax time with your special someone and make sure that they are prepared by getting them their favorite Old Spice product (you can find some amazing savings here - expires 9/30/14). It will be worth every little bit of time and effort you spent to make it happen.

P.S. Old Spice hosted a poll that found a bunch of great combos that aren't on my list and created some great videos to go with. Check out their list for some great laughs (my favorite is below) and then let us know your favorite with a comment below.
