My Thoughts:

I was so excited to try Prefense because we use hand sanitizer on a daily basis. I always keep some in my car because between the shopping, animals, and kids it seems like we always need it. The one thing I did not like about this sanitizer is that it left my hands feeling slightly sticky for the first few minutes. This is not really a big deal but it was somewhat frustrating when I was trying to get them clean. Other than that however I thought the product was great. I loved that the sanitizer came out as suds instead of as a glob of goo. This made it so much easier for B & C to spread around. I also loved the lack of scent as this is something that drives me crazy with most sanitizers.

Great Deals on Bathroom Decor

As we have been working on moving one of the rooms I am most excited about decorating in our new home is the bathroom(s). I know that may seem a little silly but it is one location I have been given NO decorations for and can do whatever I want to with. Today I was browsing Totsy and found some adorable bathroom decorations I just had to share. 

This Monster shower curtain is just too adorable. It has so many fun colors you could use and the price is unbeatable. Unfortunately, E is not quite as excited about having monsters in the bathroom as I am so this choice was vetoed.

E does however really like this curtain. It still has some fun colors and is a great price but I think I'm going to hold out for something with a little more excitement.

My Thoughts:

Who doesn't like a little lift? I have NEVER worn a bikini because I have nothing to show and I see no point in emphasizing that fact, something my husband does not understand, but when I found Voda Swim I was excited to give their push up swimwear a try. 

I was sent the Midnight Envy Push Up® Tankini & Adjustable Scoop. It arrived quickly and I was delighted with the softness of the fabric. The suit is just like in the photo, sorry, no photos of me and my big belly and stretch marks, and has a great fit. The fabric was stretchy enough to make it over my ever growing belly however I am much more excited to wear it this summer once that is no longer an issue. The push up worked great and I might actually feel cute at the pool this summer. 

I do have two concerns. One being that the suit does seem to run small. If you're in question I would order a size bigger than you think. The second is that the straps are not as long as I would like and I am worried about the ties coming undone. I did do some moving and pulling on them while trying on the suit and they didn't come undone but I don't think a little longer straps would hurt it any.

Month for Mom: Scent of A Queen: Body Butter Review

About Scent of a Queen:

I am a married mother of 4 who started my own bath and body business as an outlet for some of my creative ideas. I was delightfully surprised when I received my package from Scent of A Queen. 

The second I began opening the box I could smell the wonderful scent of Sugar Cookies. The box contained this cute heart container which held my samples. 

The Sugar Scrubs were wonderful. They smelled delicious and did their job wonderfully.

My favorite however was the Body Butter! I had to take a picture with the lid off so you could see the incredible texture. It was so thick and creamy and felt absolutely wonderful when I put it on. The only problem I had was that it smelled so delicious that once it was on I was contently hungry...for sugar cookies.

Scent of A Queen also carries lotion, bath bombs, soap and wax tart melts in many different scents.

Product Feature: Breast Pads

As I am getting ready for Baby D to arrive one thing I have found myself in need of are more breast pads. I have tried many different varieties of breast pads and these are still my favorite. Because I am fairly small I need something that has a cup to it or it looks big and bulky. I love how soft the fleece is that is inside these because it is soothing to my nipples and does not stick to them at any point. They are also super simple to clean because I can just throw them in with my other laundry.

These breast pads are wonderfully comfortable and look nice too. They are made using the same materials as our cloth diapers and are just as nice to use. Each pad has 3 layers. An outer layer of PUL to keep your shirt from getting wet. A middle layer of soaker fabric (usually flannel) to hold the moisture away from your skin. And an inner layer of soft microfleece to pull the moisture away from your skin. 

These pads are contoured so they lay flat and shaped so they fit nicely in your bra. 

All pads are white on the outside, so they don't show through, and either yellow or blue on the inside.

The Clever Bit

Our Thoughts:

The first thing the boys noticed about these cups was their cool Trucks and Airplanes. B wanted to use it "right now". So we washed them up and away we went. 

B caught on fairly quickly with the new cups. They are very different than the cups he is used to but it did not seem to cause any major problems for him.

C took a little longer to catch on. Let me state that C is not quite old enough for the cups (they say 24+ months) and that he is behind anyway due to his tongue tie issues. C got very frustrated at first because of course he wants to do everything Big Brother does. It took about 3 tries of using the cup, we would eventually take it away from him because he is not always nice when he is frustrated, but he did figure it out and now uses his cup like a pro. 

The biggest problem I have with the cups is that they are large. The amount they hold is not much more then the cups the boys usually use but because of the insulation it makes the cups larger for them to hold. This is not a bad thing but these cups are not the ones I keep in the diaper bag because having two of them takes up way too much room. You can see in the photos how big these cups are compared to B. 

I do however love these cups. They are very sturdy and have washed up wonderfully. It is also nice that the boys like the colors and pictures so much.

Pocket Dots: Review

Pocket Dots are a perfect compliment to your BellaBand, BeBand, Tummy Tube, Tummy Sleeve, Swelly Belly, or other belly band.

1.  Open one side of the clip by lifting the colored disc.
2.  Position the clip on your maternity band and push the disc back down to close.
3.  Open the other side of the clip and attach to the outer edge of your back  pocket.
4.  Repeat to attach the second clip to your other back pocket.

note: If there are flaps on your back pockets, tuck them in before attaching the clips.

My thoughts:

Pocket dots are a great idea. I did find however I liked using them on the front of my shirt rather than the back. One of the reasons was that every time I had to go to the restroom, which is all to frequently these days, I had to undo them if I used them in the back. Using them on the front of my shirt was awesome! My biggest problem is that every time I pick up B or C my shirt comes up too. That is a problem no more. I still don't usually wear them around the house but when we go out it's nice to know that I will stay covered and just not worry about it.
