Apparel for Fall + Giveaway

Wahoo! It's time for another fun giveaway here at Kerrific. Fall is officially in the air here in Idaho. In fact, our high today the high was only 66 degrees and we've had freeze warnings overnight. Burr! With this change in temperatures comes a change in apparel and today I am excited to be sharing some fun accessories that will help you and your littles stay in style this fall.

Of course with a new little one on the way I am very excited to share one of my favorite brands! LittleBabyBumblebee makes adorable monthly bodysuit stickers that are a perfect gift for your little one or the favorite new mom in your life. I love using them to help make sure I'm recording my child's development for the first year! I just received the new set of stickers they sent for Baby H and I am in love. This little boy is going to be soooo adorable!  The stickers are super easy to use - just stick them to any solid color onesie (although I suppose you could use a print one as well) and take your photos. We have some super cute ones of the girls that you've probably seen here on the blog and knowing we have those memories is a blessing for all of us!

To partner with a sticker set for our prize today we have a little something for mom. This may sound odd but one of the problems I always run into when taking pictures of the littles is that my feet end up in the photo with them. To help make this a little better Grace & Stella has agreed to give our lucky winner a Foot Peeling Mask to help revive your feet after a long summer and make them photo fit for fall. I haven't had a chance to try the mask they sent me yet but I will give you an update as soon as I do. I'm excited to see the results as I love going barefoot during the summer but with the cold weather hear there is nothing worse then having rough feet snag on those flannel sheets and fuzzy socks (yes, I have an addiction). You'll have your chance to win your own foot mask in a minute but for those of you who that's not fast enough for you can purchase yours here on a special deal they have made just for Kerrific! Wahoo!
Now for the fun part! Our prize package today is one set of LittleBabyBumblebee stickers (winner's choice) plus one Foot Peeling Mask from Grace & Stella with a total value of $40. To enter simply use the form below. Good luck!

Cyber Monday Sales + $500 Amazon Giveaway

This Kerrific post is a Fashionista Event. I was provided a promotional item by Coupons.com to inform you of their crazy insane Cyber Monday Sales, Coupons.com Cyber Monday giveaway and our Cyber Monday $500 giveaway.

It's that time of year again. Time for Christmas shopping to be just about done! Thankfully, at our house that is just about the case and I'm looking forward to finishing up during the Cyber Monday Sales.

Cyber Monday is a great opportunity for me to finish my Christmas shopping. Not only will I find some amazing deals but it also saves me the disaster of taking my kids out and trying to hide what I'm doing which with E at school and working plus my work schedule that is my only other option.

This year I am excited to replace my sticky faced, grumpy toddlers at the mall with my snuggle bug on the couch that likes to help me get all my final gifts ordered and never tells a soul.

To start things off I'll be following my favorite stores this week on Facebook, twitter, and through email so I can see all of their Cyber Monday Sales and know exactly where I want to go first. Once I know where I'm going it's easy to get everything ready so all I have to do is add things to my shopping cart and get in and out as quickly as possible.

As part of the fun, you'll want to make sure your Cyber Monday plan includes entering the Coupons.com Cyber Monday Sweepstakes. They are giving away a $500 Amazon gift card and you can enter now through December 2nd HERE.

Along with this amazing giveaway the Fashionistas are giving you a second chance at one of two $250 Amazon Gift Cards. Use the form below to enter. Good Luck and Happy Shopping!

9thandElm.com Amazing Fashion Deals + Giveaway

This is a Fashionista Event. I was given a promotional item to review by 9thandElm.com to share my opinions about the website.
 All opinions are my own.

It's been a fashion month so far here at Kerrific and we're not ready to stop that yet. This week we are featuring 9thandElm.com as part of a Fashionista event. If you haven't checked out this amazing new site yet you must head over there and see all the amazing deals that they have.
I received a gift certificate to 9thandElm.com and picked out some amazing maxi skirts!

These are the three skirts that I ordered and I love all three of them! The solid colors are my favorite right now because I can wear almost anything with them although the stripe skirt has gotten some use as well. The hardest part about ordering the skirts was that, because 9thandElm.com has many individual vendors, there weren't any size charts to help me out. Thankfully these skirts were true to size so they fit me well. Other then that ordering was awesome and the skirts are a great quality that I got for a good price.
I just love that maxi skirts are so fun to wear because they are so kid friendly. I can easily wear these with my kids around and not worry about who is seeing things that they shouldn't. The other thing that I love is that these skirts are very good in our lovely Idaho wind. My picture was taken in the least windy spot of our yard on a day that was only slightly windy and you can still see that my skirt was blowing. It's so nice to be covered no matter what is going on.

Today I am excited to announce that 9thandElm.com is sponsoring a giveaway through Fashionista events. There are three amazing prizes up for grabs. Grand prize is a $200 credit to 9thandElm.com and two runners up will both receive $100 credits. Make sure you run over to visit them on Facebook or Twitter and tell them thanks for the amazing chance! Good luck!

By entering this event, please note that you are agreeing to be subscribed to 9thandElm.com newsletter.

Cover Your Hair for Fall

In case you haven't noticed yet, Baby F doesn't have much hair. On that note it is getting quite cold here in Idaho so we have been having a fun time picking out hats for her to wear that will keep her head warm. Recently we were sent two fun hats from CoverYourHair.com to try out. They are both pretty cute and if I could just convince F that keeping a hat on is a good thing life would be great. Instead, I think I'm going to have to find a hat I can buckle under her chin because she will not keep these on to save her life.

If you're looking for some fun items to help cover your hair (or lack thereof) make sure you check out this awesome website to help you out!

Honey and Lace for Mother and Daughter

Have I ever mentioned that I'm one of those obsessive moms that like her kids to match (especially in public). It's happening less and less as the kids get older and are more in control of their own morning routines. Thankfully, there are still some times that I can make sure that they look nice, Sundays being the most noticeable because we have church early and I lay out their clothes before I wake them up.
This fall I have had the chance to try out a mother and daughter set from Honey and Lace. They have bright, fun maxi skirts that I just love. F and I had a fun time wearing ours to church last week and enjoyed being matching for some photos. Her skirt is a little long (she's an 18 month size and the skirt is a 2) but that just means we get to enjoy it longer.
My skirt fits great and I have to say it is one of my very favorite maxi skirts, a staple in my closet. Not only are the colors adorable but the fabric is higher quality than many I've seen in this price range. The style of these skirts is just a little more flowing then some which I also enjoy because it makes it easier to walk and tend my children (you know as they run out of the building and I have to go catch up).
If you're looking for some fun mother/daughter sets, or even just a fun fall skirt for yourself, make sure you check out Honey and Lace. They have a great selection and are adding new items all the time. Go check out out and make sure to stick around to win during Fall Fashionista here at Kerrific!

October Tunic from Mothers En Vogue

Since F's arrival a year ago my closet has been going through some major changes. It was about time since many of my clothes have been around since I was in high school (thank you to a mom who planned ahead and bought classic clothes that wouldn't go out of style). Although there is nothing wrong with these clothes I have felt the need for something new and interesting. One of the things that has happened with this change is that I have decided that I love tunics.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to try tunics. I love dresses and used to wear them all the time but with kids I have found that a skirt isn't always practical. Tunics are a wonderful in between for me because they have the comfort of a skirt with the ability to not worry as much about who's seeing what as I deal with my children every day.

I recently had the chance to try Mothers En Vogue's Petale Tunic and I love it! It a super comfortable tunic, especially with their Crop Neck Tee underneath, and I just love the colors for fall. I am already planning to wear this to a few Halloween parties because it is so comfortable and cute.
Although Mothers En Vogue advertises mostly as a maternity and nursing store they have a ton of wonderful items that are perfect for everyday women. I have already added half a dozen of their items to my holiday wish list and I am always checking to see if they have something new. They have even come out with some fun little girl's items recently that match mothers outfits and I just can't wait until F gets a little bigger so we can match.

If you're in search of some amazing women's clothing you will want to check out Mothers En Vogue's amazing selection! You won't be disappointed. Just remember while you're looking that their prices are in SGD and you'll need to convert them to USD (generally about 1 SGD to .80 USD) to see how amazing the prices really are. Happy Shopping!

Cover Up With Covillow

There was a day, not so long ago, when I did most of my nursing at home with no one else around and it didn't matter if I was exposed or not. Now that my boys are older and can ask questions and we frequently have guests it has become more important for me to be modest while nursing the baby. I've tried lots of different nursing covers, including a receiving blanket, and this time I am really enjoying my fun pink cover from Covillow.
Not only do I love that this cover's pink, yes I know your sick about hearing more about my pink and purple obsession, but I also love that I am safe from prying eyes in every direction. Unlike some covers this one is really easy to use and it does cover all the way around which is wonderful. The pillow that is attached to this cover is an added bonus to help save your back. I have used it in two ways, either to help hold baby up, or to help support my back if I am sitting in an uncomfortable chair and it works great for both.
I really wish I would have had this cover back when I was pumping at school. It would have saved me a lot of time trying to pump while still staying covered and seeing the pump so you can make sure everything is going where it needs to. This is such a great cover I recommend the Covillow to any mom who nurses and feels the need for some privacy without stress. You'll love it!

The Designist Diapers

Diapers, Diapers, and more diapers. Many days I feel like I'm swimming in diapers. In fact, the other day I was doing an assignment on time management for one of my classes. Our job was to find out where all of our time was going and how we could better manage the little moments that get lost during the day. After recording my time usage for two days I discovered that on an average day I spend TWO AND A HALF hours each day changing diapers. That's crazy!
Thankfully, at least while I'm changing diapers I get to change cute diapers right. The Designist just sent us two adorable diapers to try out. The first diaper is a one size purple and black diaper and the other is a pink and yellow newborn size diaper. These diapers function really well. They each have waterproof outsides and a beautiful suede inside. They also come with a microfiber insert.
My very favorite thing about these diapers is the bright colors. Granted, I love print diapers but these are wonderful because they match just about anything. I don't have to worry about having too many prints involved with these fun bright colors. The best news is that with The Designist you can choose your own colors from a great selection. Go check it out and order your great new diaper today!

SnuggyBaby Ring Sling

As a mom of four small children there is one thing I never have enough of, hands. I will forever be envious of spiders and their ability to have extra limbs, or at least I am until I remember how many children a spider has at one time. One thing that has helped me to achieve my spider status is my new SnuggyBaby ring sling. In fact, this is what I look like most days. Yes, that's me in true colors with my sweatshirt and sling.
I love this sling for when I'm doing homework or other simple household tasks. It allows me to keep my baby close. I love knowing that she is safe and comfortable but still having two hands to do other things. I'll also use this sling when I go to the store with all the kids. It makes it so I have one arm to carry D and one hand to hold onto C who holds onto D. Needless to say that going out is stressful with all four kids and knowing that at least one of them is safe and I have two hands to help control the other three is wonderful.
As you can see, baby F is quite comfy and is generally asleep when she's in the sling. If you're looking for a great tool to be your extra set of hands check out SnuggyBaby's  great selection of slings, wraps and carriers. You're sure to find something there that you'll love!

Daddy Scrubs

Moms spend lots of time deciding on outfits for important moments in their lives. I know for me that my "home from the hospital" outfit is one of those. I also spend a ton of time picking out the clothes my kids will wear home and then it is a treasured outfit that I will save. I'm assuming I'm not the only mom that's sentimental so today I am please to introduce you to the perfect outfit for dads during the special time of having a new baby, Daddy Scrubs.

Daddy Scrubs are a great gift for a new dad. E says they are super comfy and he really likes to wear them around the house. I would assume that this would make them a great set of clothes to choose for while your wife is in labor but I can't verify that as we never have long enough to wear anything but our pjs to the hospital.

Our scrubs have washed up really well and I love that they are holding up through weekly use. If you want a great gift for dad, for a new baby, holiday, or just because, you should consider Daddy Scrubs. I know dad will be thrilled!

CutiePaTooties by Lauren Diapers

I'm still working on expanding my stash for baby sister. There are so many cute diapers out there it's crazy! Recently CutiePaTooties sent me a fun pink hearts diaper to try. It has been super great the few times we've used it with the big boys, until baby F gets big enough to fit in it.

I will note that this diaper is not huge. This picture is of it on D and as you can see, it's a little snug on him at 18 months. The good news is that Lauren offers different sizes on her diapers so that should be fixable to get one that fits your child.

I do really like the way this fits around the legs of my boys. We've only had one leak so far and that was the child's fault (he had his hands in the leg). If anyone knows how to keep a child from doing this please let me know as I've cleaned up more poop over the last month than I care to think about.

If you're looking for fun diapers for you kids make sure you check in at CutiePaTooties as she has awesome prints and is getting new ones all the time.

Happy Shopping!

Peanut Shell Hospital Gowns

Anyone who's spent time in the hospital knows that, besides the food, one of the worst parts is the horrid gowns they put you in. This is a really big problem for me because I am little. When I was in the hospital with B one of the nurses actually asked if I wanted her to go try to find me a child's size gown because the one I had on was so huge!
Thankfully this time I had a beautiful gown from Peanut Shell to use during my hospital stay. My favorite thing about this hospital gown was of course that it fit. I didn't have to worry about huge slits in the front coming open and exposing myself to everyone but I could still easily nurse my baby and didn't have to worry when the nurses stopped in to do tests either.
I know you can't see it very well in the photos but this gown has snaps that open at both shoulders and then all the way down one side. I wasn't wearing the gown during the actual delivery as my bag was still in the car with no time to go get it, but more on that later. I did however wear this gown as soon as they let me change and I was so much more comfortable.
Although I was once one that said it didn't matter and there was no way I was going to haul a gown around with me this wonderful hospital gown has changed my mind. Every mom should have a gown that fits properly when they deliver their little one. And trust me, you will get your money's worth. Not only will you be so much more comfortable in the hospital but the gown works great when you get home too so you have comfy pj's that you can still easily nurse in. Plus, aren't they adorable!
Make sure you check out all the great hospital gowns, and other products, from Peanut Shell and head over to win during Fall Fashionista.

Small Concept Designer Kids Clothes

It seems like for the last five years I have done nothing but change sizes. In fact, I have so many tubs of clothes that I don't dare throw away because I know I'll need them again it's kinda scary. This time around I finally got a little smarter and began getting clothes that I can wear no matter what size I am. I was really excited when Small Concept agreed to let me review their wrap shirt because I knew it would be one of those timeless items.
I have loved this top and am so glad that I have it as part of my wardrobe. It was a little warm to wear during the summer but I did use it on a couple of occasions. Now that it is fall this shirt has become one of my favorites. Not only does it hide those post baby rolls that I dislike so much but it is super comfortable and, as a bonus, easy to nurse in.
If you are looking for some adorable maternity or kids clothes make sure you check out Small Concept. They have a wonderful selection! You should also head over to win a great prize from Small Concept during Fall Fashionista!

Thanks Mama Treasures

I'm so excited to tell you about another new diaper that I love. This is the bumGenius Freetime diaper and it has quickly become a nighttime favorite around our house. Now the reason this is a nighttime favorite is probably not what you are expecting. At our house C is almost ready to potty train (and he better get there quick) so he wants his diaper changed almost immediately after dirtying it. Unfortunately this includes at night and, being one of those moms that hardly ever is caught up on all the chores around the house, diapers are almost never folded and ready to use so E and I really love when this one is in the pile because we don't have to worry about finding all the pieces in the middle of the night when C makes his nightly demand and we don't end up with a pocket diaper stuffed with a cover like sometimes happens during those half sleeping diaper changes.
My other favorite thing about the bumGenius Freetime is that it's not really a pocket diaper but it's not an all in one either. I've found it to be a very unique diaper because it is made more like a pocket diaper but the soaker pads (inserts) are attached. There is one attached at each end and then they flip to the middle and overlap for easy use. This is why it is so easy at night but it still doesn't have the super long drying time of the all in ones. In my opinion it is a great hybrid of the best two properties of these types of diapers.
I'm so glad Thanks Mama sent us this diaper to try. They have a wonderful store full of lots of fun baby and toddler items! Every time I visit my wish list gets longer and longer. They also have wonderful customer service and fast shipping. Make sure you go visit them and then check back here for a great giveaway as part of Fall Fashionista!

Wobaby Basics Organic Clothing

There are a few things as a mom of small children that I cannot have enough of. Two of those things are pajamas and baby blankets (a third is chocolate). These just happen to be the two items Wobaby Basics sent me to review, and are adding to our Fall Fashionista prize package. I am in love with both pieces already!
I immediately fell in love with the soft, organic cotton of the Wobaby items. They are beautifully constructed and oh so perfect for a new baby. I did become concerned when I opened the nightgown further. The size tag says six months but it is huge. I wasn't sure how I was going to review it until I held it up to D and realized it would fit him perfectly. I was amazed that it fit him so well, since he's 18 months, and he looked so cute, until he tried to get up and walk but couldn't that is.
We have been enjoying the blanket as well. It is a perfect size for swaddling a newborn and a perfect thickness for the fall weather we've been having so it seems to always be in use somewhere.
I really love my new Wobaby items. I wish I would have had them for all of my kids! Make sure you check out all their beautiful organic items today.

Nature Bumz Baby and Natural Parenting

Another new addition to our girl fluff stash is this fun hearts Charlie Banana diaper from Nature Bumz. This diaper, modeled by D, also has a great fit on my kids  My favorite feature of this particular diaper is the front opening pocket. Although it is not too big of a deal for me, this feature makes it much easier for E to stuff the diapers with his big hands.
I am also very pleased with the wide selection of products you'll find at Nature Bumz. They have lots of different brands and types of cloth diapers to try and compare. They also sell gently used diapers which is a great way to try different brands for less.
Besides cloth diapers, Nature Bumz also sells lots of other great items including wet bags, dryer balls, diaper creams, clothing, diaper bags, and so much more. If you're in the market for anything baby make sure you stop by to visit and keep checking back here since Nature Bumz is helping to sponsor our great prize package for Fall Fashionista.

Wild Mountain Mommies Diaper Covers

Another thing I have decided we need more of for our baby girl is fun, pink diapers. Don't get me wrong, I love our diapers with dogs and trucks and they would work just fine but there is something about a diaper made for a little girl that just makes me smile.
Although baby girl is still much to small for most cloth diapers, I think we finally have one newborn size diaper that fits, I am having a blast with my little girl collection. One of our newest additions to our pink fluff stash is this cute Care Bear cover from Wild Mountain Mommies.
I not only love the bright colors of this cover but it also has a really nice fit. The photos here are of the cover on C and you can tell that it's great. Another thing to note is that this cover is very large. Remember that C just turned 3. Most of our diapers are on the last setting with him but this cover still has room to grow. A big bonus for those of you with larger children.
This is a great cover and I am thrilled to have it as part of our stash. If you're in the market for diaper covers make sure you check out Wild Mountain Mommies and check back here at Kerrific to win a diaper cover of your very own during Fall Fashionista.
