As a mom of four generally the last thing I'm worried about is how I look. You've all seen my comfy look which is super easy to throw on as I'm running around trying to keep children out of their sister's bed and away from any food they may find in the trash can - more on D's latest adventures another day though. Today I'm here to show you my awesome sexy look! I was so happy when I got dressed this Sunday and came out looking like this after just twenty minutes. Humerus, Ulnar, and a Little Pain in the Back

So, I got what we thought was a great toy for E for Valentines. Humerus & Ulnar are is a joke telling bone that is actually quite funny. They are clean anatomy jokes that we enjoyed listening to. The problem started at the fact that although this toy is supposed to be noise activated it was set off at the littlest bump and noise. It was cute but it got a little old. The good news, for me, was that it didn't take long for the batteries to die. Now the kids have adopted it as their dump truck driver. Kinda cute! Although I would suggest this as a perfectly wonderful gag gift or really for anyone else, consider yourself warned that if someone passes the luck to you plan on passing the luck on unless you need another child who won't be quiet. You can thank me later.

Redecorating the Kids' Rooms

This winter I've been working on redecorating the kids' rooms. We've done some major redecorating in the big boy's room (pictures soon) but I have to show you this awesome bed set we got for D first. He has moved up to the big boy bed and needed a quilt that was just his. This awesome set from Beyond Bedding was perfect for the job! Fairhaven Health Helps Again

I can't believe my baby is three months old! They grow so fast and I can never seem to keep up. My baby girl is growing faster than any of my boys did and part of that I owe to Fairhaven Health. With the boys I always had a hard time keeping my milk supply up and as much as I love nursing we have ended up supplementing with formula by the time the boys were about 4 months old. Fortunately this time I don't think that will be needed. We all know that our kids are going to be super excited about all the new things they get for Christmas, or we hope they will be. Is Love A Fairy Tale? Aoede

I found this collection quite interesting. It was almost like listening to a musical. Each track had some narration and some music but the Is Love A Fairy Tale? CD makes one continuous story. I would say that the story itself is good for pre-teens and would be especially appealing to girls. It talks about a young woman in search of love. She's not sure what it is or how to find it. She looks lots of places and meets lots of interesting creatures in the mystical land where she lives. In the end we learn that "love is whatever you want it to be" and is "the greatest thing of all".

MilkBands for Mom

With baby #1 I did a pretty good job of keeping track of what I was doing. I always nursed on the correct side and I could always tell people how long it had been since the baby had had his diaper changed. With baby #4 I've gotten a little less responsible. Ok, not really but things are a lot crazier and it sure seems like I'm looking my marbles.

Gymini My Nature Pals - Our New Favorite Toy

So my original plan was to save this for F for Christmas but she loves her Rocker Napper so much with the hanging toys that I gave it to her early. So anyway, this is our new Gymini My Nature Pals from Tiny Love. It has been a HUGE hit with all the kids and I can't believe the hours of fun it has provided.

The first time I put F under the the Gymini she just started grinning and it was amazing. We've been letting F use this for about a month now and she is still in love. She'll usually play for about 15 minutes and then fall asleep on the comfortable mat.

The baby isn't the only one enjoying this new toy however. My big boys like to play with it while F is napping and pretend they are driving their cars in a rain forest. It's pretty funny to watch them all play together too. Once I caught all four kids with their heads under the toys playing together.

Another favorite feature of mine is that the music on this Gymini is totally not annoying. In fact, I actually enjoy having it on as I'm doing dishes or folding laundry because it is energetic and fun to listen too. The big boys like to turn it on to dance to too.

I'm Getting Zoobies for Christmas!

A Christmas Bear Book

Every year each of my children gets a book for Christmas. I am a firm believer in the power of reading and the kids and I love to read together.

Endless Games - Cupcake Race

One of C's new goals in therapy is to be able to take turns when playing with other children (especially B). Our hope is that this will help him stay calmer when playing with other kids and be more prepared to go to preschool next year. One of the things we have been doing to help with this is playing lots of games as a family. One of our new favorites is Cupcake Race by Endless Games.

The only downside of this game is that it does have small pieces so sometimes we have a hard time if D is awake but it is great for the big boys. This game introduces numbers, colors and simple addition and subtraction. We've only played a handful of times and already B has figured out the + and - symbols and I suspect that C will figure them out soon.

Your kids will love this game! They will end up with a different cupcake every time they play. This would be a great birthday party game too. You can have 2-4 players (or teams) and it usually takes us about 25 minutes to play.

Little Me Cyber Monday

Since Baby F is our first girl we, I really mean I because E couldn't care less if she wears pink or blue, have been having a great time finding her a fun wardrobe. One of my very favorites is this cute outfit from Little Me. As you can see it's still a little big (everything is big on this baby) but she really likes it too.
I have two favorite things about this outfit, besides how cute it is. The first is that the material is wonderfully soft. Even after several washes the fabric is beautiful! I love to cuddle with her in this one because the fabric is so comfortable. The other thing I love is how well it cleans. Baby F decided to try out her pooping skills in this the other day (trust me when I say it was everywhere) but I washed it and now it looks brand new again. I can certainly say that this is not a standard feature of baby clothes although it should be.
