Toddler Tuesday: Baseball

So my side of the family are big Baseball fans, that may even be an understatement. Anyway, this summer we had the opportunity to take the kids to some of their Aunt's and Uncles' baseball/softball games. It was lots of fun but of course it was me with the kids as E had to work. Some games were more stressful than others but HERE are some great tips on how to help your child thorough a baseball game. Because we were watching the local super league teams here are a few tips I came up with:

1. Arrive early - yes, I know this sounds silly but if you get there early you can claim the shade allowing your kids a perfect spot to lay down for a nap.
2. Bring treats - some of the games we watched were tournaments. During these you never know when the next game/break will be so make sure you have plenty of food for those kids, and moms, who like regular meals.
3. Recruit a friend - Find a friend to come help. Many people love a chance to watch a game for free. See if one of those people will come with you to help out and watch the game. Most likely they will.

Do you have any great tips on how to get your kids through a sports event? Tell us about it.
